After three C-Sections (one for twins), I had a lot of excess skin. I’m 46 years old and felt I didn’t want to have the pouch any longer. From the first visit I felt Dr. Chris Williams and his staff did a very professional job in explaining what he could do and how it would look. Never the less, I did my due diligence and looked at a few more places. When we did decide, they worked hard to find me a date that would work with the one week vacation schedule I needed. I lost 100 pounds approximately nine years ago through diet and exercise. What I have accomplished is dramatic and very visible. Dr. Jeremy Williams and Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery were amazing. I had been wanting to do this for years as I worked endless hours in the gym, doing both cardio, and weights and I still couldn’t lose the rest of my pregnancy fat. I had no idea that after a mastectomy I could look normal again but Dr. Jeremy Williams and his amazing expertise and care for the whole person did just that! When I had a mastectomy-to-direct-implant by another hospital organization 16 months ago, those surgeons placed an implant that was not the correct fit but it wasn't until I was experiencing pain and ongoing swelling a year later did I realize that I needed help from a truly experienced plastic surgeon to fix the problem. After several visits to other surgeons, my husband and I both agreed that Dr. Jeremy was THE expert we needed, and my results are above and beyond what we expected as even a day after surgery, for the clean-up work he had to do along with the implant replacement, the breast looks like my own and I was in less pain then I was with the old implant. I also appreciated: (a) their onsite surgery center - it's surprisingly large, fully equipped, and it was so nice to be able to stay in the building I've grown comfortable in with the pre-op visits etc.; (b) Dr. Jeremy's nurse Sue and his patient navigator Natasha as they are such caring people and clearly experienced professionals and ensured that I was well-prepared for the surgery (and even followed up on my post-surgery), and his anesthesiologist who worked his magic so that I woke up without being groggy and nauseous; and (c) the office staff who are also very caring and efficient as my appointments and insurance approvals all ran smoothly and without any issues. Given my experiences, Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery & Aesthetics is the only place I would go for plastic surgery needs into the future.

After having a bilateral mastectomy, I was looking for options for reconstructive surgery. I was told about the DIEP Flap procedure. When I met with Dr. Jeremy Williams and visited with him about the procedure, I was totally convinced for many reasons, the DIEP Flap was the best way for me to have breasts again. When Chemotherapy and Radiation were finished and I had time to heal, both physically and emotionally, my DIEP Flap was scheduled. It is a very long surgery. I’m not going to lie to you, it’s a very big deal. They tummy tuck part of it was sore.

After finishing with the surgery, I thought, I don’t need nipples. I was wrong. I needed them to change my flaps, to breasts. When it was time, I also had the nipples tattooed. I’m so glad I did. Now I feel complete. I feel my life can go on and the nightmare is truly behind me.

I would also like to add, Dr. Williams and the staff at the Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery are the best. They are all very professional and caring.

I am a physician/surgeon myself so take a moment to read this. If you have breast cancer or a high risk of breast cancer and you are considering options that may include reconstruction, I strongly advise you to seek care from Dr. Jeremy Williams. He, his partner, and team have perfected DIEP flap breast reconstruction to an extent that you will not find elsewhere in Colorado or any surrounding state. My risk of breast cancer was high, and now following my DIEP breast reconstruction, not only has that fear has been eliminated, I look normal and whole and feel very relieved and satisfied. This office has never been pushy about anything related to cosmetic surgery or any cash based procedures. They worked with my insurance in an extremely helpful way. The staff is professional and genuine and I would have them work in my practice any day. You are wasting your time if you look elsewhere for any breast cancer related reconstruction procedures.

Having breast cancer sucks. Having breast cancer two times really sucks! The first time I was scared, the second time I was just mad. I was a 10 year survivor and thought I had it beat forever. I just wanted to have the darn things removed and get on with my life. When I told my surgeon this, she suggested I speak to a cosmetic surgeon about reconstruction before I made up my mind. She gave me a list with several names on it.

One of the recommendations was Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery. I had never been to a cosmetic surgeon and I have to admit I had some preconceived ideas about what I would find when I got there. I couldn’t have been more surprised. From my very first visit I was impressed on how caring Dr. Chris and Dr. Jeremy are. They treated me like I was one of their family.

These two fine young men are so passionate about their work and so eager to share their knowledge. I had just heard of DIEP Flap reconstruction from at nurse at SkyRidge Medical Center, but really did not know what the procedure involved. Both Dr. Chris and Dr. Jeremy spent considerable time explaining the process to me. They shared what to expect from the procedure and the healing afterwards. I was given a CD to take home to review and share with my family members. They also covered several other options for my consideration. I told them that I had an appointment with another cosmetic surgeon and they encouraged me to see him so I could make the right choice for me.

After we left the office I cried with relief, I could not believe I had found doctors who really cared about me as a person, not just another case. I could not believe how compassionate they were and how different this was from my first experience 10 years ago.

I did visit the second cosmetic surgeon and listened to his views on TRAM Flap versus DIEP Flap. Four months prior to this I had a spinal fusion and was still recovering. Since DIEP Flap doesn’t compromise the stomach muscles and TRAM Flap does, I felt that the DIEP Flap was the right choice. Also, using my own body fat for the reconstruction instead of implants just made more sense to me. Of course having a tummy tuck was a bonus I wasn’t going to refuse!

The care I received by both doctors before and after surgery was remarkable. While I was in the hospital they were able to follow my progress through their cell phones. I always felt they knew exactly what was happening with me and if need be could be at the hospital right away. They also timed their hospital visits while I was awake and aware of what was going on.

Was this procedure a walk in the park? Of course not this is major surgery, but it was far easier than I ever imagined. You are up and moving the day after surgery and you really do get to go home soon after. While there is some pain, it is more the tightness that you feel. This tightness slowly goes away and you begin to feel your life return to normal.

It has been four months since my DIEP Flap and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. My breasts look and feel just like the real deal and my stomach hasn’t looked this good in years! If this sounds like I can’t say enough about Dr. Chris and Dr. Jeremy, you are right. I highly recommend the doctors and the DIEP Flap to anyone facing a mastectomy and reconstruction. I am 64 years old, married for 48 years, grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 5. Thanks to Dr. Chris and Dr. Jeremy, I plan to live a long time and look pretty darn good while doing it!"
